2026 National Convention: the French-speaking network meets in Paris

On 12 and 13 January 2026, the CNIT Paris La Défense hosted the National Convention of the French-speaking Schmidt Groupe network.

As at the beginning of each year, this event brought together the teams from the SCHMIDT, CUISINELLA and ID PRO brands, as well as their partners. Two days devoted to the Group’s business, developments in the housing market and the outlook for the months ahead.

Laurent Blum took the opportunity to review the Group’s strategy and the context in which its various brands operate. David Chazet presented the marketing initiatives underway and the projects planned for 2026.

Commercial issues also featured prominently in the discussions. David Roy, Johann Fruchart and Laurence Negroni shared their analysis of the network’s activity, the results observed on the ground and the development areas identified for the coming years.

Another highlight of the convention was a talk by Laurent Combalbert. His talk, which focused on trust, adaptation and human relations within organisations, provided additional insights to the discussions held over the two days.

The event ended with the traditional Performers’ Night. This evening was an opportunity to honour the shops that had distinguished themselves over the year, whether through their results, their progress or the quality of their management.

Beyond the presentations, this National Convention is above all a time for sharing between the different teams in the network. It’s a useful opportunity to take a step back from the past year and prepare collectively for the challenges ahead.
