CASA DECOR 2026: SCHMIDT imagines the home as a whole
For CASA DECOR 2026 in Madrid, Spain’s leading interior design event, SCHMIDT is presenting a project designed in collaboration with Studio Lemon, the studio founded by interior designer Marta Miñarro Martinez.
Called La Unidad, the project is inspired by Le Corbusier’s ideas on the home as a global architectural structure. Conceived as a complete home, the space brings together entrance hall, living room, dining room, kitchen, bedroom and dressing room in a coherent composition in which the furniture plays a full part in the architecture of the space.
The curves, materials and play of colours create a fluid, harmonious whole, in which each element interacts with its environment. This project also illustrates the meeting of two complementary areas of expertise: the industrial expertise of SCHMIDT and the creative sensibility of Studio Lemon. Together, they propose a vision of interior design in which aesthetics naturally find their place in everyday use.
Through this collaboration, SCHMIDT GROUPE is also asserting its desire to “create beauty”: beauty designed to last, at the service of everyday life, where design, functionality and emotion come together in the same vision of the home.
