With our background in engineering and manufacturing, we have always designed and produced robust and functional products. For a long time, style and aesthetics featured low on the priority list, but they have gradually become an integral part of our expertise and design practices.
Around 20 years ago, our international expansion prompted a rethink about how we designed our kitchens and interior solutions. Beauty considerations have since been incorporated into the earliest stages of our design and innovation processes, without any compromising on functionality, practicality and quality.
This is how we create beauty today for the 200,000 unique and bespoke home living solutions that we design every year.
Defining beauty

Designing beauty
Beauty is based on aesthetic conventions and achieved through a demanding and often invisible process.
Aesthetic designs never happen by chance. They follow universal rules of symmetry, proportion, coherence, field and harmony.
Beauty is designed in-house by our multi-disciplinary teams. They pick up on the latest trends, they keep a close eye on the markets, they analyse the leading artistic movements, they know where consumers’ interests are heading, and they sense and detect the emerging signals.
Together with our partners, including design agencies and prospecting firms, we define a vision and establish the broad outlines of the new, unique collections that will encapsulate our identity. Each brand, driven by its DNA and market position, develops its own individual style.
We also occasionally work with renowned designers and creators, most recently with Christian Lacroix and interior designer Jean Porsche.
This beauty is then brought to life in-house through prototype projects developed by our artistic departments.

For every project and every setting, our designers will draw on their expertise, design tools and new technologies so that customers can picture their future home interior more clearly, while suggesting stylish improvements or decorative touches.
Through digital printing, which our Group is the only one in its sector to truly master, each project can incorporate motifs, prints and artistic visuals designed by the leading names in interior design or graphic design to bring even more personality to a project and ensure that your interior really is unique and beautiful.
Selling sustainable beauty
Beautiful furniture does not cost more to design or manufacture.
Nor does it have a greater impact on the environment. However, beauty does have a positive impact on the product’s durability and lifespan.
