We have the chance to grow. We are proud to help the extended enterprise and our stakeholders to grow: growth is a gift, an opportunity that we must cherish and cherish. Grow with others and grow for others. Becoming aware of existence. Growth gives us the capacity to pass on, to enhance, to make better, to pollute less, to build better. What if we manufactured things differently? What if we tried to design a better world?

Generating a more positive impact
Living together in a changing environment.
Be a player in a winning territory where we are all guarantors and protectors. Regenerating rather than impoverishing.
The question for us is existential: are we doing enough to ensure that our impact is as negative as possible and that it becomes increasingly positive?
So for every decision, every change, every project, we ask ourselves: have we thought things through? Are we being more virtuous by taking this decision? Will the people around us live better with this change? Is what we are doing and how we are doing it more virtuous than yesterday?
This success is not measured by our annual sales figures.
Our sustainable performance can be seen in the answers to these questions: are our employees happy to come to work and do they return home in good health? Do our customers feel at home with our products? Are our dealers proud to carry our brands? Do our suppliers earn a decent living thanks to us? Does our region benefit from the fact that we are still here?
If we can answer yes to these questions (and we measure it), then we deserve to grow.
Making our business intrinsically virtuous
If we are to continue to have a more positive impact, we need to make people prefer us to our competitors, to those who produce less well than we do.
Consumers must choose us for the sustainable quality of our products, choose us for our commitments, in good conscience.
We have a responsibility to think and create furniture that lasts over time, kitchens that can be renovated more easily, furniture that can be reinvented and given a second life, that can be easily recovered to make them part of a circular economy where nothing is thrown away – in short, products designed to last and evolve.
This is the path we have defined to make our business intrinsically virtuous.
Advancing the entire industry
We know that no single player can change the industry on its own.
If our sector doesn’t move the yardsticks, if our colleagues don’t make progress too, our efforts will pale into insignificance. That’s why we’re mobilising our industry – suppliers, distributors, designers, retailers, legislators – by taking an active part in industry discussions, to show that it’s possible, that we can do it and that everyone can contribute. All it takes is to get started, to get moving. We are working alongside a wide range of players and manufacturers to transform our business models. Collectively, we are strengthening our ties, particularly through our contributions to the Syndicat National de l’Equipement du Foyer. This commitment from our entire ecosystem is necessary and essential if we are to have an impact.
Schmidt Groupe hosted the first meeting of the SNEC (Syndicat National de l’Equipement de la Cuisine) kitchen group within the CNEF (Confédération Nationale de l’Equipement du Foyer ), marking a new structuring stage for all players in the sector.
In a constantly changing environment, growth cannot be decreed, it has to be earned collectively. By bringing together manufacturers, distributors and partners around key issues such as regulations, training, CSR and social issues, the SNEC Kitchen Group embodies this dynamic of shared progress.
