Transforming workspaces
Living in inspiring places
Inspiring Working Spaces is a programme launched in 2020 with the aim of rethinking and shaping the way we work in the future: enabling our teams to flourish in an environment that fosters agility, caring, trust, cooperation and responsibility.
Just as we create inspiring living spaces for our customers, we also create inspiring working spaces that take into account the safety, health and well-being of all our teams.
Places to work and collaborate
Work Cafés
Hybrid places, these warm and informal meeting and working spaces aim to encourage inter-team cooperation. They are also great showcases for Schmidt Groupe’s expertise, with products manufactured exclusively by its brands.
The Lièpvre Farm
Completely renovated in 2023, this historic building on the Lièpvre site has become a real place to live. The emphasis is on conviviality and sharing, with lunch available outside whenever the weather permits, work areas for concentration and collaboration, and sports facilities.
With its uninterrupted view of the Vosges mountains, La Ferme is an inspiring place to be every day.
La Ruche fully reflects our vision of a company that is more collaborative, more sustainable and deeply rooted in its local area.
La Ruche, our new eco-designed building
Since December 2025, La Ruche has been much more than just a workplace for employees at the Sélestat site: it’s a vibrant ecosystem, conducive to cooperation and innovation, located close to the Sélestat production sites.
La Ruche embodies both our commitment to eco-responsibility and our corporate culture. It reflects our vision of tomorrow’s way of working.
Sainte-Croix-aux-Mines: a place of learning and inspiration
Schmidt Groupe Academy is our in-house training centre. Dedicated to all employees in the shop network, talented staff receive training in brands, products and sales techniques.
It’s a stimulating place where learning and sharing come together to enhance knowledge and customer satisfaction. With its spacious training rooms and two showrooms that are identical replicas of Schmidt and Cuisinella shops, the centre fosters skills development and personal fulfilment for the 2,500 people who come here every year for hands-on training and life-size situations.
Manufacturing in 4.0 plants
Our production sites in Alsace and Germany embody our commitment toindustrial excellence, with the health and safety of our employees always at the heart of our concerns. Ongoing investment in equipment modernisation, ergonomic workstations and the continuous improvement of production conditions make our plants places where performance goes hand in hand with quality of life.
Cutting-edge equipment, collaborative robots, user-friendly break areas, continuous improvement programmes developed jointly with our teams: our industrial sites are designed so that every employee can find the optimum conditions to do his or her job with pride and peace of mind.
Sport at work
Sport is an incredible lever for bringing people together, engaging them and motivating them. Its values are directly in line with those of the Schmidt Group. The company offers its employees the opportunity to take part in physical activity through :
- freely accessible outdoor multi-sports pitches
- group classes led by coaches
- a fitness area comparable to a real gym, available on a subscription basis with personalised support, cardio and muscle-strengthening machines
- corporate sports teams for regional competitions in the Schmidt Group colours
Living in Alsace
Working at Schmidt Groupe also means choosing Alsace.
It’s an attractive region to live in, renowned for its quality of life, economic dynamism and cultural wealth. Our historic head office at Lièpvre is at the foot of the Vosges mountains, our production site at Bergheim is on the famous Wine Route, and our site at Sélestat is on the Alsace plain between Colmar and Strasbourg and at the foot of the Vosges mountains.
